Every bite of this heavenly and scrumptious treat takes us back to the days when we used to visit our grandmother in her house in Ayutthaya during summer. The moment we arrive at her house, an inviting plate of this creamy glutinous rice paired with sweet ripe mangoes, drizzled with yummy coconut sauce is already waiting for us as if it’s her way of giving us a welcome embrace.

And there is something special about her version of this traditional Thai dessert that always makes it a highlight of our visit. Everything from the magnetic aroma of sweet mangoes, the creamy and sticky texture of the rice, down to the hearty taste is just surreal.

We may never fully understand how she never fails to create a lesser version of it every year, but we are certain and passionate in recreating the unforgettable experience for you.
